In standard specification, the Porsche 550 J combines an 8 kW (11 HP) 48-volt powertrain with two compact 1.8 kWh lithium-ion batteries positioned behind the seats. This mid-mounted layout contributes to balanced weight distribution, while a light, stiff tubular spaceframe chassis inspired by the Porsche 550 A Spyder provides the foundation for rewarding control.
With a top speed of up to 40 mph (65 km/h) and a range of up to 30 miles, the standard Porsche 550 J delivers genuine driver engagement in its purest form. Functional lights, indicators and gauges, Brembo® disc brakes and suspension developed with Bilstein® and Eibach® complete a specification created to be driven and enjoyed.

RS Pack. Heightened Performance
Inspired by Porsche’s Rennsport philosophy, the RS Pack brings greater performance and a more purposeful character to the Porsche 550 J. Output increases to 16 kW (22 HP), while four 1.8 kWh lithium-ion batteries extend the range to up to 50 miles. Top speed rises to 50 mph (80 km/h).
Drilled brake discs with sintered pads, painted Brembo® callipers and adjustable Bilstein® coilover dampers sharpen the car’s responses and heighten its focus. A Race-Tex® inspired interior completes a specification developed for an even more involving driving experience.
